SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to neurology, traumatology-orthopedics and radiation diagnostics, and can be used to position the needle during intra-articular injection into the intervertebral joints in the lumbar spine. When the patient is in a prone position in a neutral position, the size of the facet joint interarticular gap (JIG) is assessed at each interested level. The direction of the inter-articular fissure of the JIG is determined. With the help of computed tomography, the point of entry of the needle on the skin is determined in relation to the position of the spinous process. Calculate the length of the intra-articular injection needle by measuring the distance from the needle entry point on the skin to the JIG. The X-ray stream of the C-arm is directed to the ipsilateral side parallel to the direction of the inter-articular fissure. According to the found trajectory, the joint cavity is punctured and an intra-articular injection is performed.

EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the accuracy of the entry of drugs into the cavity of the JIG, a decrease in the radiation load on medical personnel and patients due to taking fewer X-ray images and refusal to use equipment with high radiation exposure during the operation.
