FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of modifying a silica gel-based sorbent, which enables to separate hydrophilic and hydrophobic low-molecular compounds in biological fluids. Disclosed is a chromatographic sorbent for analyzing low-molecular compounds in biological fluids for liquid chromatography, obtained by reacting silanol groups on the surface of silica gel with modifiers to form a semipermeable membrane. Modifier used is aminoalkyl diethoxysilane or aminoalkyltrichlorosilane with subsequent addition of a glycidyl ester of a carboxylic acid containing at least 5 carbon atoms, accompanied by hydrolysis of the oxirane cycle.
EFFECT: creation of sorbent for separation of low-molecular compounds, having hydrophilic groups, as well as hydrophobic low-molecular compounds in the presence of proteins and large hydrophilic molecules contained in biological fluids (blood plasma, urine, tissue fluid) without preliminary sample preparation, which reduces analysis time.
