FIELD: pharmacology.

SUBSTANCE: for quantitative determination of the biocidal isonicotinic acid hydrazid (isoniazid) content in aqueous solutions of this compound, sorbents (silica gel or alumina) are pretreated with an aqueous solution of copper salt and dried at toxic sorption and technical analysis of the substance and dosage forms of this preparation. Then, the analyzed sample of the aqueous solution is applied to the sorbent, and after the colour development, the colour parameter is recorded. The optical signal is recorded when the sorbent surface is scanned with an optical scanner through the RGB chroma channels to obtain a graphic image. The isoniazid concentration is determined by the intensity of signal response through the B colour channel using a graphical editor.

EFFECT: regulated introduction of optimal drugs doses during treatment of active forms of tuberculosis, and during drug pharmacokinetics study.
