FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: described is a method of purifying recombinant protein, particularly recombinant human albumin. Method involves carrying out the following steps: (a) adding aminoguanidine and a medium-chain fatty acid to a sample containing a recombinant protein; (b) chromatography of the obtained sample, where chromatography is performed using a buffer solution containing aminoguanidine; (c) removing aminoguanidine from the chromatographed sample by ultrafiltration and (d) obtaining a purified recombinant protein preparation.
EFFECT: method according to the present invention, in comparison with prior art analogues, provides effective purification of recombinant protein, in particular recombinant human albumin, and is characterized by reduced formation of polymers and/or inhibition of interactions of proteins, pigments and carbohydrates of host cells with produced recombinant proteins.
