FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, namely to production of solid nutrient medium for extraction of non-cultivated or previously unknown microorganism from soil sample. Nutrient medium contains, g/l: gellan gum – 20, yeast extract – 0.005, casamino acid – 0.005, glucose – 0.005, soluble starch – 0.005, K2HPO4 – 0.3, sodium pyruvate – 0.003, peptone – 0.0025, MgSO4 – 0.024.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the number of CFU of bacteria growing on solid nutrient media during sowing of soil samples by imitation of oligotrophic soil conditions due to extremely low content of the main carbon sources: glucose, starch, peptone and yeast extract, providing growth for auxotrophic microorganisms due to introduction of casamino acids, reducing toxicity, increasing transparency when forming a dense gel and reducing content of impurity compounds due to use of gellan gum.
