FIELD: foundry.

SUBSTANCE: composition for making gasified cast patterns contains polypropylene, polymethyl methacrylate and a foaming agent. Polypropylene and polymethyl methacrylate are taken in ratio of 75:25 wt.%, respectively. Foaming agent is taken in amount of 0.5–5.0 wt.% over 100 wt.%.

EFFECT: ensures the production of cast iron castings of high quality in structure, mechanical properties, surface defects and gas porosity without deteriorating working conditions.
