FIELD: foundry production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foundry production and can be used in the production of precision castings from ferrous and non-ferrous alloys according to removable models, including those obtained by 3D printing using additive technologies. The method for assembling a block of cast patterns to be removed includes the use of a mechanical tongue-and-groove connection. The depth of the groove is chosen not less than 25% more than the length of the spike. Grooves are made on the landing surface of the stud, and before assembly, the landing surface of the groove is heated to a temperature of 10-15°C above the level of the softening temperature of the material of the casting patterns. Can be used for dovetail tongue and groove mechanical connection.
EFFECT: increased reliability of connection of elements of the block of removed models by minimizing the distortion of the geometry of the model block as a whole and violation of the permanent connection of individual elements of the block during assembly.
