SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for studying the interaction of powerful laser radiation with gaseous media, in particular the effects of generation in gases of high-order harmonics, acceleration of electrons in an electric field accompanying a laser pulse, generation of betatron radiation and short-wave radiation of multiply charged ions in laser plasmas. Device for forming a set of laser targets includes targets, alternately delivered to the interaction zone with radiation, a target delivery unit to the reaction zone, wherein every target represents working gas container. Container housing has a polished surface with a hole, brought into contact with a gas valve, wherein container housings are arranged uniformly on belt conveyor equipped with housing positioning unit on gas valve. Volume of the outlet channel of the gas valve is comparable with the volume of the target container. All parts of the device, including the container for collecting bodies of spent targets, are located in high vacuum conditions.

EFFECT: preventing gas loss associated with diffusion through the thin-film wall of the capsule.
