FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for drying solid materials or objects at rest in stationary chambers. Automatic thermal-weight installation for investigation of dynamics of change of weight of iron ore pellets during their drying in flow of heat carrier gas contains burner device, connected by the outlet to the initial section of the gas path connected to the inlet of the drying chamber. Installation is equipped with a controller, a data input panel and a memory device. First input of the controller is connected to the information output of the automatic electronic scales, the second input is connected to the data input panel, the output of the controller is connected to the input of the memory device. Controller is made with possibility of fixing values of time intervals and readings of automatic electronic scales, generating a control signal for the beginning and termination of the recording by the storage device of the current values of the readings of the automatic electronic scales and the values of the time intervals for reducing the weight of the iron ore pellets, data input panel is configured to set the minimum value of the weight change of the iron ore pellets and the maximum value of the time interval for monitoring the weight change of the iron ore pellets, memory device is made with possibility of recording current values of readings of automatic electronic scales and values of time intervals for reduction of weight of iron ore pellets.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the accuracy of controlling the weight of iron ore pellets during the drying process.
