FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nutrition science and can be used for weight reduction. Method involves interval feeding, reduction of caloric content of food, limitation of sugar, flour products and other carbohydrates, with the ratio of carbohydrates in food: 10%, fats: 70% and proteins: 20%. Protein consumption is reduced to 0.6–1 g per 1 kg of patient’s current body weight. Additionally, microelements are introduced: potassium in amount of 300–500 mg for the first month once a day, magnesium in amount of 300–400 mg for the whole duration of the diet once a day, and food additives: sodium in the form of sea salt, 1 tablespoon of sorbent on an empty stomach and 100 mg of chlorophyll once a day for the first month.
EFFECT: method provides the effectiveness and safety of weight reduction, safe entry into the ketogenic diet and normal bowel function by limiting the intake of the protein product, reducing the electrolyte excretion from the body due to the intake of trace elements - potassium and magnesium, as well as due to the use of additives in the form of a sorbent and chlorophyll.
