FIELD: cable industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to seismic resistance testing of electric cables. Proposed is an electric cable seismic resistance testing device, comprising a vibration table with a platform, in the middle part of which a tooling is fixed, which contains two generatrices of 90°±10° angle of plate for fixation of electric cable sample with length of not less than 1 m on it with clamps. At that, the spacing of the specimen fixation on the tooling is from 0.4 m to 0.6 m, and the tooling is placed on the vibration table platform so that to provide the plane of the electric cable laying perpendicular to the vibration table platform plane. Device has a multimeter designed for connection to a test sample of an electric cable through a connector.
EFFECT: possibility of checking electrical cable products to earthquakes.
