FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical industry and can be used to protect products from counterfeit. Sequence of points is applied on the article with a luminescent dye, the obtained mark is irradiated with ultraviolet light with wavelength of 250–400 nm. Mark is read by a digital camera. Obtained image is processed. For each point of the mark, a luminescence spectrum is obtained, consisting of four bands, each of which is compared to integer from 0 to 255 based on intensity, and a QR code is formed horizontally from half of the points of the mark. Integers are matched by points and a green component of the RGB code is obtained, and from the other half of the points a QR code is formed along the vertical and a red component of the RGB code is obtained, wherein when generating a colour QR code, each point is located at the intersection of two components of the RGB code and contains a colour code, where each component contains from 0 to 255 points: R from 0 to 255, G from 0 to 255, B equals 0.

EFFECT: higher reliability of products counterfeit protection.
