FIELD: organic liquids individualization.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for the individualization of organic liquids by compositions of luminescent semiconductor nanoparticles. A method for marking petroleum products with quantum dots is proposed, in which a luminescent indicator based on semiconductor nanoparticles is introduced at the stage of storage or transportation of petroleum products using a fluid medium injection device, while luminescent semiconductor nanoparticles of at least two of cadmium selenide, cadmium sulfide, zinc selenide, zinc sulfide, and the nanoparticles consist of several successive layers of at least two of cadmium selenide, cadmium sulfide, zinc sulfide, zinc selenide, or use semiconductor nanoparticles of at least one of cadmium selenide, cadmium sulfide, zinc selenide, zinc sulfide alloyed with a transition metal.

EFFECT: invention provides high protection against falsification of marked fuel by controlling the parameters of the emission of quantum dots.
