SUBSTANCE: method of firing automatic weapons with cutoff, in which signals are generated in the form of a cyclogram, which includes the presence of a feature from a firing switch, in which the burst cutter generates a firing resolution feature, and the firing signal generator for a low rate of fire Tm and a high rate of fire Tg generates a pulse of duration t1 to ensure the guaranteed execution of one shot. Time between pulses t2 and t3 determines rate of fire from automatic weapons. Burst cutoff device comprises a power switch electrically connected to the on-board network, which supplies power voltage to the electromagnet of the trigger, manual firing rate switch with two rate decreasing and rate increasing buttons or one button for cyclic switching, firing switch, burst cutoff. Cutoff device is made in the form of a timer.

EFFECT: higher grouping and accuracy of fire from automatic weapons, reduced consumption of ammunition, possibility of reducing ammunition allowance due to reduced consumption of ammunition.
