FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a bending machine for forming transverse corrugations in a metal sheet. Bending machine (9) comprises drive device (11), moving metal sheet (1), and bending device (12), comprising frame (13), made with possibility of movement parallel to direction of movement between rear position and front position by means of first drive mechanism. Punch (16) is made with possibility of vertical movement on frame (13) between initial position and bending position by means of second actuator (17). Control unit (29) is configured to control the first drive mechanism (14) and the second drive mechanism (17) and with possibility of simultaneous movement of frame (13) of bending device (12) from rear position to front position and puncheon (16) from initial position to bending position. Invention also relates to a method of using a bending machine.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides higher quality of produced articles.
