FIELD: metal bending machines.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a bending device for the formation of a corrugation in a metal sheet (1). The bending device comprises the first frame (9) and the second frame (10), which are designed for vertical movement relative to each other between the initial position and the bending position. The first frame (9) has a punch (11) containing a head (14) that has a V-shaped section and that has at least one first section (41) and two second sections (35) located on either side of the first section (41) in the longitudinal direction, with the first section (41) connected to each of the second sections (35) by a transition zone (38, 54) corresponding to the shape of the resulting corrugation extended longitudinally. The second frame (10) has a matrix (12) having a matrix cavity (13) having at least one first section (42) and two second sections (43) located on both sides of the first section (42) in the longitudinal direction, and these two transition zones (38, 54) are located respectively opposite each of the second sections (43) of the matrix cavity (13) and are able to be located in them during the bending operation.

EFFECT: quality of the corrugated sheet is improved.
