FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: method relates to ice engineering. On both sides of the crossing along its entire length, ropes are frozen-in, on which elements are pre-installed. Freezing-in of ropes is performed by heating elements to temperature higher than ice melting temperature due to electric current passing through them. Elements are made in the form of strips of rubber reinforced with steel mesh.
EFFECT: increased carrying capacity of ice crossings.
