FIELD: ice crossings.
SUBSTANCE: method for creating an ice crossing involves forming stiffening ribs on the ice surface by freezing steel beams into it. The upper part of the beams rises above the ice cover, and the lower part emerges from under the ice. The resulting structure is exposed to low temperatures (t<0°C) during the time required for the formation of stiffening ribs, growths under the ice in places where the lower parts of the beams protrude, equal to the thickness of the ice. After the formation of ice stiffeners under the ice, build-ups, the beams are heated to a temperature above 0°C, is lifted above the surface of the ice cover and re-frozen into ice.
EFFECT: strengthening of the ice crossing.
