FIELD: ice engineering.
SUBSTANCE: on the ice cover along the crossing on both its sides there installed are wave absorbers in the form of horizontally located and working for tension-compression springs. Their ends are fixed on vertical posts frozen into the ice cover at a distance from each other equal to half the length of resonant flexural-gravity waves. Lower parts of the vertical posts frozen into the ice cover are placed under it, and at their ends there are additionally fixed wave absorbers.
EFFECT: increase of carrying capacity of ice crossing due to reduction of amplitude of flexural-gravity waves excited by moving vehicles.
