FIELD: ice technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ice technology and can be used to create an ice crossing for transporting goods. To achieve the effect, on the ice cover along the crossing on both sides of it, wave dampers are installed in the form of horizontally located and working in tension - compression springs. Their ends are fixed on vertical posts frozen into the ice cover at a distance from each other equal to half the length of resonant bending-gravity waves.
EFFECT: increase in the bearing capacity of the ice crossing by reducing the amplitude of flexural gravity waves excited by moving vehicles.
