FIELD: ice technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ice technology and can be used to create an ice crossing for transporting goods. Under the ice cover, wave dampers are installed, made in the form of springs working in tension-compression. The springs are placed vertically, their upper end is attached to the ice cover, and the lower end is fixed at the bottom of the reservoir. Wave dampers are installed at a distance from each other, equal to half the length of resonant bending-gravity waves.
EFFECT: an increase in the bearing capacity of an ice crossing is achieved by reducing the amplitude of flexural-gravity waves excited by moving vehicles.
