FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ice engineering and can be used to create an ice crossing for transportation of goods. On the ice cover along the crossing on both its sides wave absorbers are installed in the form of springs horizontally located and working for expansion-compression. Their ends are fixed on vertical posts frozen into the ice cover at a distance from each other equal to half the length of resonant flexural-gravity waves. Posts are made with possibility of changing their length.
EFFECT: increase of carrying capacity of ice crossing due to reduction of amplitude of flexural-gravity waves excited by moving vehicles.
