FIELD: ice crossings.
SUBSTANCE: device for creating an ice crossing is made in the form of pylons installed on the banks on both sides of the planned crossing, with carrying ropes attached to the upper ends of such pylons. Vertical hangers are fixed on them with their upper ends, and their lower ends are frozen into the ice cover at a distance from each other not exceeding half the wavelength of the static deflection of the ice cover due to the action of a static transverse load.
EFFECT: increase in the carrying capacity of the ice crossing.
