FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely, to filling adapters for pouring medical fluid into a container. Adapter has a body with a distal end, a proximal end and a central hole extending between the distal end and the proximal end along a longitudinal axis. Central canal has a divergent portion at the proximal end of the body so that the diameter of the central portion increases at the divergent portion in the direction from the distal end to the proximal end. Filling adapter additionally has a flow regulator located inside the central channel at the distal end of the divergent part so that a gap is formed between the outer surface of the flow regulator and the inner surface of the central channel.
EFFECT: flow regulator shape is configured to direct fluid flowing through the central channel into the gap and along the divergent part of the central channel according to the Coanda effect.
