FIELD: bridges.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for building floating bridges. A method of assembling bridge ferries for a floating railway bridge, which consists in levelling a platform on the shore to accommodate the required number of assembled bridge ferries. Two rolling tracks are being constructed on the site perpendicular to the shore line of the reservoir. On one side, pontoons are assembled from pontoon sections along the rolling tracks and installed across the rolling tracks using a truck crane. Next, the pontoons are equipped, if necessary, superstructures are installed, sections of spans are installed and connected, and a road drive is installed. After the bridge ferry is assembled, a deck is built over it using masking material. To launch the bridge ferry into the water, a traction device is installed on the shore of the water obstacle.
EFFECT: it is possible to reduce the contrast of bridge ferries of a floating bridge against the background of a water barrier.
