FIELD: bridge construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the design, manufacture, guidance and operation of floating railway bridges. A method is proposed for compensating for temperature changes in the length of an NZhM-56 floating railway bridge during the withdrawal and input of an outlet ferry during ships passage, characterized by the replacement of one of the fixed coastal parts of the bridge with a movable coastal part, which pulls the shore the adjacent transition and river parts when the bridge is pulled apart, and when the bridge is converged it serves the adjacent transitional and river parts to the outlet ferry standing in the bridge line, followed by fixing the moving coastal part in a fixed position before the trains pass, and consisting of a coastal superstructure resting on a frame lifting support and connected to it by a traction frame a support cushion, movably mounted on metal guides and strips, fixed on the pile and bed foundations with stops and providing longitudinal displacement and fixing by clamps of the frame lifting support and the support cushion, from a hydraulic drive standing on a separate foundation and forcibly changing the position of the movable coastal part and the transitional and river parts attached to it, from a set of removable adjusting superstructures with several standard sizes along the length, designed to connect the railway track on the coastal superstructure and the abutment and selected for installation in the span, depending on the temperature gap between the coastal superstructure and abutment.
EFFECT: improved operational characteristics of the floating railway bridge.
