FIELD: timber industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to timber industry, in particular to processing of stacked timber. Trees stored in a stack are processed by a forest machine equipped with a processor head, in which on the frame side which is rear relative to the delimbing knives jaw location, there is a different-arm rocker is hingedly installed with upper and lower limiters of its position. Tree is displaced in the stack, delimbing knives of the processor head are directed to the selected tree in the stack, the tree is gripped, dragged along the frame of the processor head with cutting of branches and cross cutting into assortments. Before gripping the tree, the different-arm rocker is turned until the lower position limiter touches, the long arm of the different-arm rocker is introduced into the stack between the trees, one of the trees in the stack is displaced relative to the others so that between the displaced tree and the adjacent trees in the stack there is a free space sufficient for unobstructed passage of the delimbing knives of the harvester head. Different-arm rocker is turned until it touches the upper limit stop, the selected tree is gripped with delimbing knives and processed with a processor head.
EFFECT: increasing the productivity of work related to crosscutting stacked trees using a processor head.
