SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions of additives for addition to thermoplastic polymers or thermoplastic polymer compositions containing a clarifying agent and a coloring agent. Disclosed are two versions of a method of producing a thermoplastic polymer composition, where according to the first version, the method consists in providing a thermoplastic polymer, providing an additive composition containing at least one clarifying agent, selected from the group consisting of (A) cyclohexane-1,2-calcium dicarboxylate and (B) acetal compounds corresponding to the structure of formula (I), at least one blue coloring agent and at least one black coloring agent, with subsequent mixing of thermoplastic polymer and composition of additives to obtain thermoplastic polymer composition, where the amount of the clarifying agent in the thermoplastic polymer composition is from about 50 ppm to about 5,000 ppm, based on the total weight of the thermoplastic polymer composition, and the thermoplastic polymer composition has a blue color factor of 0.93 to 1.1 and a normalized brightness value of 64.0 to 69.1; and according to a second version, the method consists in providing a thermoplastic polymer, providing at least one clarifying agent, selected from the group consisting of (A) cyclohexane-1,2-calcium dicarboxylate and (B) acetal compounds corresponding to the structure of formula (I), providing at least one blue coloring agent and at least one black coloring agent, followed by mixing the thermoplastic polymer, the clarifying agent and coloring agents to produce a thermoplastic polymer composition, where the amount of the clarifying agent present in the thermoplastic polymer composition is from about 100 ppm to about 5,000 ppm, based on the total weight of the thermoplastic polymer composition, and the thermoplastic polymer composition has a blue color factor of 0.93 to 1.1 and a normalized brightness value of 64.0 to 69.1.

EFFECT: development of a combination of additives which improve perceived transparency or visible turbidity of thermoplastic polymers.
