FIELD: video surveillance.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to panoramic television surveillance, which is performed by a computer system using a television camera, providing successively circular view in four spherical layers of surrounding spherical region of space by reproducing on screen of combined image with reference to its two layers simultaneously. Television control is carried out in a spatial angle of 360 degrees in azimuth and tens of degrees in elevation, and the sensor unit of a television camera of such a system comprises two photodetectors made according to the technology of complementary structures "metal-oxide-semiconductor", which have the shape of a target in the form of a circular ring.
EFFECT: invention provides simultaneous monitoring in two layers of the surrounding space by forming a combined image in a "ring" frame without loss in time for each of the constituent images.
