FIELD: security systems.
SUBSTANCE: panoramic television surveillance, which is performed by a computer system using a television camera that provides all-round visibility simultaneously or sequentially in four spherical layers of the surrounding spherical region of space. At the same time, for each of these spherical layers, television surveillance in real time is carried out in a spatial angle of 360 degrees in azimuth and tens of degrees in elevation. The sensor unit of this television camera consists of two photodetectors made using the method of complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) structures, which have the shape of a target in the form of a circular ring. In this case, both photodetectors are joined to each other by the reverse sides of their crystals and are placed in a frame, which also houses a ball bearing, which provides a spatial rotation of the frame.
EFFECT: elimination of accompanying pixel losses in each of the sensors while maintaining the possibility of monitoring the video information of a panorama in four layers of the surrounding space.
