FIELD: television systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to panoramic television surveillance, which is performed by a computer system using a television camera, providing successively circular view in four spherical layers of surrounding spherical region of space by means of reproducing on screen of computer monitor of combined image with reference to its two layers simultaneously. Television camera includes a sync pulse selector and an image superposition unit (ISU), wherein the ISU contains a D-trigger, a first video signal switch and a second video signal switch, wherein the information input of the first video signal switch is the first information input of the ISU, to which the video output of the first photodetector is connected, the information input of the second video signal switch is the second information input of the ISU, to which the video output of the second photodetector is connected, and the outputs of both switches are combined with each other, being the output of the ISU, which is connected to the input of the video signal modulator.
EFFECT: enabling formation of a combined image of a panoramic scene for simultaneous monitoring in two layers of the surrounding space by forming a combined image in a "circular" frame with a "circular" boundary of its division and without loss in time for each of the constituent images.
