FIELD: computer engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to panoramic television surveillance, which is carried out by a computer system using a television camera, providing an all-round view in the spherical region of space, occupying two oppositely located ball layers. At that, for each of these ball layers, television monitoring of the situation in real time is carried out in spatial angle of 360 degrees in azimuth and tens of degrees on elevation angle. Result is achieved by the fact that the sensor unit of the television camera consists of two photodetectors made using the technology of complementary "metal-oxide-semiconductor" (CMOS) structures, which have the shape of a target in the form of a circular ring, wherein on the photodetector chip there is an analogue-to-digital converter and units performing scanning and generation of the output voltage of the digital video signal.
EFFECT: high degree of integration of the television camera owing to the photodetectors of the "circular" sensor using CMOS technology and the arrangement of the necessary electronic "framing" on their chips.
