SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering. Method of protecting computers from dust and moisture consists in installation of filter elements on the housing of the system unit, installation of standard fans of the PC system unit for air blowing from the housing, installation of air-tight pads on the holes of the system unit and installation of an additional panel using a U-shaped profile frame, wherein as a filter element on the left side cover of the system unit housing, a panel-type automotive air filter is installed, and on the additional panel there installed are vertical moisture trapping plates from metal of rectangular shape.

EFFECT: high efficiency of protecting a PC system unit from dust and moisture while maintaining efficiency of cooling PC components.
