FIELD: industry of construction materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chrome-magnesite heat-resistant concrete. Composition for making chrome-magnesite refractory concrete includes, wt.%: chrome-magnesite aggregate with fraction of 0.18–7 mm 60–80, finely ground chrome-magnesite Ssp=2,500–3,000 cm2/g 4–8, binder—colloidal sodium polysilicate with silicate modulus 6.5 5–12.5, finely ground scrap of periclase-chromite articles Ssp=2,500–3,000 cm2/g 3.5–5.75, natural fine amorphous silica 3.5–5.75, finely ground silicon carbide Ssp=2,500–3,000 cm2/g 4–8, water, W/S (from weight of dry components) 0.12–0.14.
EFFECT: higher residual compression strength as-fired and thermal stability.
