FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in mining operations in difficult mining and geological conditions at coal mines. Method for temporary attachment of seam development workings during tunneling with a heading machine involves the use of a temporary adjustable support with sections, consisting of sliding roof bars connected with hydraulic props. On the roadway soil behind the heading machine, rigid metal frames are mounted inside the temporary adjustable support sections, moving behind the tunneling machine with the help of jacks, which are equipped in the upper part with guides for a movable carriage, by means of which each section of the temporary adjustable support is moved at distance of 30–50 m to the face of the seam development working. Then, due to spacing of hydraulic props, the roof bar is moved apart by the width of the seam development working, it is lifted from the frame and pressed to the roof.

EFFECT: ensuring safety of working personnel in case of roof rocks caving in the working face and (or) manifestation of mining-dynamic phenomena in process of underground workings.
