FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Laser iridectomy is performed in patients with glaucoma, Fuchs corneal dystrophy and cataract. Beam is focused on an anterior surface of iris at 12 o'clock and exposed to 3 to 10 pulses, pulse power 2.0–6.0 mJ, to complete iris perforation. At the second stage, the beam is focused on the anterior surface of iris at 18 o'clock and exposed to from 3 to 10 pulses, pulse power 2.0–6.0 mJ, until complete perforation.
EFFECT: method provides reducing the time of keratoplasty in the given group of patients; reduces risks of intra- and postoperative complications, reduces postoperative trauma that promotes fast rehabilitation of patient in postoperative period.
