FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: method of extraction of lipids from the biomass is proposed. The method comprises destruction of the cell membranes of microalgae Chlorella in a vortex electromagnetic field with ferromagnetic particles followed by extraction of the lipid fraction. Extraction of the lipid fraction is carried out in a multistage extraction device with swirl flow of inert bodies, using an organic solvent.
EFFECT: invention enables to reduce the extraction time and to increase the output of the lipid fraction from the microalgae biomass.
