FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a silicone mould. Result is achieved by a method for manufacturing a silicone mould for moulding an article, which includes steps of, on which a matrix for a mould is printed on 3D printer, having a front surface in the form of an article extruded from the plane and a protective projection surrounding the front surface and having a height greater than the height of the front surface. Front part of the printed matrix is coated with a liquid layer of epoxy resin and dried. Matrix coated with a layer of epoxy resin is placed on a heated table and a silicone mixture based on platinum is poured into the matrix to the level of the height of the protective projection and solidified on the heated table. Solidified silicone mould is removed from the matrix and excess silicone is cut.
EFFECT: easier removal of the product from the mould and simplification of the process of making the mould for casting the product.
