FIELD: weapons.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to artillery weapons, in particular to antirecoil devices for artillery pieces. Disclosed is a valve-needle recoil-returning brake comprising external cylinder (1) with rod (2) and piston (3) with a built-in valve device. Outer cylinder (1) further comprises needle (E) entering through point (Zh) into dead cavity (M) of rod (2) and piston (3), and valve device contains spring-loaded valve (5) and profiled slots (G) of outlet in seat (4) of valve (5).
EFFECT: technical solution provides stable dynamic characteristics of movement of recoil parts of artillery piece, with possibility of realization of section of free (low braking) recoil; wherein desirable characteristics of movement dynamics of recoil parts are maintained at recoil and returning without increase of device dimensions.
