FIELD: rail vehicles.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, particularly, to control over compaction and stabilization of ballast layer material of rail and sleeper grid using cyclic and continuous cyclic work trains. Result is achieved due to provision of control of proportional pressure of horizontal vibration compression of ballast layer in under-sleeper zone of rail and sleeper grid by tamping blocks, which are located on the right and left side of the working member of the work train in accordance with the specified conditions of compaction and stabilization of the ballast layer, which contributes to improvement of ballast layer compaction quality due to provision of compaction uniformity along and across the rail and sleeper grid. Work train tampers proportional pressure control device includes an input signal amplifier module, a reference signal generator module, a control signal generator module, right tamping unit drives control signal generation module, including shaping amplifier of signal A, detector of signal A, power switch A1 and power switch A2, a module for generating a control signal of drives of the left tamping unit, which includes a shaping amplifier of signal B, detector of signal B, power switch B1 and power switch B2, power supply. Proposed work train tampers proportional pressure control device provides control of proportional pressure of horizontal vibration compression of ballast layer in under-sleeper zone of rail and sleeper grid, which improves the quality of compaction of the ballast layer and increases the efficiency of using track straightening-tamping-levelling machines as a whole.

EFFECT: expansion of the functionality of the device for regulating the pressure of the work train tampers.
