SHILKIN'S METHOD FOR CONSOLIDATION OF BALLAST OF RAIL WAY AND SHILKIN'S MACHINE FOR REALISATION OF METHOD (VERSIONS) Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC E01B27/12 E01B27/20 

FIELD: building, road works.

SUBSTANCE: consolidation is perfored by serial processing of lots of ballast along the rail way by means of simultaneous impact on the lot ballast using the vibratools and grating. Intensity and uniformity of impact on the ballast is provided at the expense of simultaneity and symmetry of superposition of a force field from grating on force fields from the vibratools. The machine for consolidation of the ballast of the rail way contains a machine frame leaning against running hand carts and the assembly unit for the ballast consolidation, having immersed in ballast by means of drive moving the vibratools. The vibratools represent rods with the bottom end in the form of a sealing shovel over which on a rod the tamping slab is fixed. The shovel has possibility to make from a drive vibrating vacillatings in a horizontal plane, and a tamping slab-vibrating vacillatings and power briquetting in a vertical plane. In the first variant - the frame of the assembly unit for ballast consolidation is supplied by the bearers executed with possibility of their interaction with rails, and, at least, the part of vibratools the assembly unit in a direction along a machine frame is located between these bearers. In the second version - the machine is in addition supplied with vibrastrikers executed with possibility of interaction with rails which are mounted on a machine frame in a direction along its length before and behind the assembly unit for ballast consolidation.

EFFECT: provision of intensive and uniform impact on ballast on all length of a processed lot of rail way at the expense of simultaneity and symmetry of superposition of force field from the grating on force field from vibratools.
