FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: track is straightened for correcting the position of the rail track and individual sleepers are selected for preliminary fixing of the track in the specified position. Track is finally fixed due to the simultaneous sealing of ballast in subsleeper and intersleeper spaces. Track is stabilised by means of the machine which simultaneously affects the ballast with the help of vibrating tools and vibrating rail-sleeper lattice. Vibrating tools transmit vibration oscillations to the ballast in the horizontal plane and vibration oscillations, as well as force compression in the vertical plane. Rail-sleeper lattice vibrates under the influence of vibration exciters, located along the rail track. Operation of vibrating tools and exciters of vibration can be synchronised.
EFFECT: increasing productivity of the process by improving the quality of ballast consolidation.
