FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for processing fusible polymers. Extruder comprises housing accommodating screw (20) with at least one helical threaded ledge (31, 32, 33, 34, 35). Screw (20) is divided by outer diameter into initial, middle and end areas. Middle area has a larger outer diameter than at least one of other areas (21, 25). Transition cone (22, 24) is formed between areas with different diameters. In the middle area there are two degassing zones (23.1, 23.3), each of which contains at least one suction hole in the housing. One degassing zone (23.3) is formed in the area of satellite screws. Another degassing zone (23.1) is located upstream of the first one. Depth of thread turns (42, 43, 44), made between screw projections (32, 33, 34, 35) in both degassing zones (23.1, 23.3), is greater than at least in one sealing and compression section (23.2) formed between degassing zones.
EFFECT: higher quality of processed polymer.
