FIELD: natural gas storage.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to storage of natural gas in an adsorbed state and use of adsorbed natural gas to power an internal combustion engine of a vehicle. In a particular case of execution, the technical result is the fight against the accumulation of high-boiling hydrocarbons in a monoblock adsorbent of on-board adsorption accumulators, allowing to increase the number of use cycles of the on-board adsorption accumulation system without reducing its active capacity, which together leads to an increase in the vehicle mileage.
EFFECT: increase in the onboard adsorption natural gas accumulation system filling operating efficiency due to the onboard adsorption accumulators thermal control function during their filling with natural gas, which makes it possible to increase the total capacity of the adsorption accumulation system (amount of filled gas).
