FIELD: storage.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the design of an adsorbed natural gas storage system. Onboard adsorption accumulator of conformal design has inner cells with thermal control system, inner volume of which is filled with blocks of moulded adsorbent.
EFFECT: reduced weight of the adsorption gas accumulator housing, increased fire and explosion safety, increased total capacity of adsorption gas accumulator and increased active capacity at delivery of natural gas (methane) from adsorption gas accumulator.
