SUBSTANCE: invention relates to storage of natural gas in an adsorbed state and use of adsorbed natural gas to power an internal combustion engine of a vehicle.
EFFECT: increase in the on-board adsorption natural gas accumulation system operation efficiency and its filling system due to simultaneous provision of the on-board adsorption accumulators temperature control function during filling and gas delivery from them to the vehicle engine, which makes it possible to increase active capacity of adsorption accumulation system (amount of discharged gas), and a function of controlling accumulation of high-boiling hydrocarbons in a monoblock adsorbent of on-board adsorption accumulators, which enables to increase the number of cycles of using the on-board adsorption accumulation system without reducing its active capacity, which together leads to an increase in the vehicle mileage.
