FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to gastroenterology. It can be used for detection of stomach antrum and duodenal motility disorders in evacuation of gastric contents. Peripheral electrogastroenterography is used to determine the ratio of the electrical activity of the stomach to the electrical activity of the duodenum before and after ingestion of non-carbonated drinking water. Decrease of the above value in comparison with the initial value testifies to the presence of disturbances.
EFFECT: method is not invasive, has no contraindications and is well tolerated by patients.
