SUBSTANCE: invention relates to repelling insects. Composition for repelling insects. Method of repelling insects involves using a composition containing the following in wt.%: from 2 to 4% of α-pinene, 2 to 4% of borneol, 8 to 10% of geraniol, 28 to 35% of linalool, 25 to 38% of linalyl acetate, 1 to 4% of methyl salicylate, 2 to 4% of myrcene, from 2 to 4% of para-cymene, from 4 to 8% of phellandrene, from 1 to 4% of thymol and from 2 to 4% of vanillin.
EFFECT: inventions make it possible to provide formulations of compositions with good properties to repel insects, which are safe for humans and animals.
