FIELD: essential oils industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the essential oil industry. Method for extraction of essential oils from vegetable raw material is characterized by that milled raw materials are preliminarily soaked in polar organic solvent of isopropyl alcohol, sediment is separated by filtration, liquid extract is subjected to electrolyte separation by adding aqueous 20% sodium chloride solution to the liquid extract while stirring, after mixing for 5-7 minutes, the liquid is separated into 2 layers, the lower layer is a solution of isopropyl alcohol and sodium chloride in water, and the upper layer is a concentrated solution of the extracted components in isopropyl alcohol, lower layer is directed to regeneration of isopropyl alcohol and extraction of sodium chloride, process of treatment with electrolyte of upper layer of liquid extract is carried out in several steps with combination of concentrates produced at each of previous stage with final 2-3-times rinsing of distilled water concentrate of extracted components and obtaining target product of essential oils.

EFFECT: invention simplifies the method of producing essential oil by providing selective extraction, which does not require use of high pressures, and eliminates the process of distillation of the solvent.
