FIELD: information and telecommunication technologies in medicine; telemedicine technologies.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed method of thrombolytic therapy includes steps of recording primary data on a patient on a local telemedicine device equipped with a remotely controlled video camera; said data are transmitted to the remote telemedicine device and a video conferencing session is established between the local and remote telemedicine devices; receiving audiovisual data from a video camera of the local telemedicine device on the remote telemedicine device; remote assessment of patient’s severity by NIHSS scale is carried out on the basis of received audiovisual data, at that, patient is examined and interviewed; calculating the dosage of thrombolytics based on the patient's severity assessment results and the recorded primary data on the patient, on the remote telemedicine device, and transmitting information about this to the local telemedicine device, followed by the introduction of the calculated dose of thrombolytics intravenously with the involvement of the medical personnel who received the patient; repeated remote assessment of patient’s severity according to NIHSS scale is carried out during the first days from the beginning of thrombolytic therapy, and on the basis of detected dynamics tactics of further patient management is corrected; forming a conclusion based on the results of the video conferencing session and entering data from the formed conclusion into the register of monitoring the patients with signs of acute cerebrovascular accident; repeat one or more video conferencing sessions until patient's condition stabilization or complete recovery, wherein during repeated sessions of video conferencing at least partially repeating actions of method, starting with remote assessment of severity of patient on scale of NIHSS.
EFFECT: invention provides higher availability of qualified medical care for the patient during thrombolytic therapy.
